Implants are the best option that we currently have for replacing missing teeth. When we talk about an implant, we are referring to the screw-like piece that is placed in your bone, and there are several different kinds of restorations that can be used with an implant. We do not offer implant placement here at our office, but there are several oral surgeons in the area who work with us to coordinate your implant placement. Once the implant is placed and healed, we will restore it for you.

Implant Crowns
Implant-retained Prosthetics

For restoring just a few teeth or a single tooth, we recommend implant crowns or bridges. The implant crown screws or cements onto an part of the implant. The restorations look and function just like natural teeth, making them the best option for missing teeth.

If you are missing more than a few teeth or your teeth cannot be restored, we recommend an implant-retained prosthetic. This involves getting several implants placed  in the arch where you have missing teeth. Then we fabricate a solid u-shaped prosthetic to replace all of your teeth. The prosthetic will allow you to have a natural smile. We recommend that you take it out at night to clean it, but you can leave it in. Either way, it will keep its stability and give you the ability to eat normally.

However, there are occasional limitations to implant placement. If you cannot have implants placed, then a                                or                                          may be a better option for you.
